Romans Road to Heaven
If you died today, do you know that you would go to Heaven?
The Bible says that you can KNOW: I John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (Eternal life is to live with God forever in heaven)
The Bible says that all are sinners: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Sin is breaking or disobeying God's law)
The Bible says that all need the Savior: Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Commendeth means He proved His love)
The Bible says that all must confess: Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Confession simply means to "agree" that Christ is the sinless risen Savior, and you ar a condemned sinner)
If you believe and are ready to receive Christ as your personal Savior, then pray this prayer and mean each word as your own as you speak to God:
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again to pay for my sin. Please forgive me of my sin, and save me right now. In Jesus's name, Amen."
The Bible says if we will believe and call upon God for salvation, then we can know by God's promise that we truly are born again: Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
